So with the next round of the BDC at Knockhill only days away, momentum is already gathering towards the finale of the BDC at the Nissan Plant in Sunderland on the 24th-25th of September.
** **
Total Jap Car Magazines have taken over organisation of the car show side of the event utilising the massive amount of space at the plant to put stands up for 400 vehicles + other attractions .
Naturally, its only right that we turn up in force to once again show them how its done

This map shows where the gate for vehicles is
The campsite gates and toilets will be open from 7.30pm on Friday. Sorry I can't make it earlier but my shift swap has not worked out due to my colleague that had agreed to swap being off work now with the extreme I don't expect him to be back at work on Friday

Prices and PaymentsAdvance Tickets for the BDC are:
£3 for SXOC members - Yes! Your read that right, it is just three quid!
£8 for Non-members
Entry to watch practise on the 24th is frreeeeee!
Price on the day will be the advertised price on the poster above .
Advance payments with subsidy are now closed
Info received from Paul at Japspeed is that we can add people up to the day before the event and we will make every endeavour to do so but you will be paying the gate price on the day.
Food
Due to the super low price food is not included in the price of the event - however weather allowing we will run a BBQ on the Saturday night for a collaborative chuck a couple of quid in to get a pile of meat and buns - please drop me a PM if you want in on this so I can gauge numbers
Stand information
We have been especially invited by Paul @ Japspeed to have a stand on Sunday as they want loads of the SXOC to represent the S Body . This will follow the normal rules:Found here
As the rules from Nissan and TJC state you have to be on the stand for 9am on the Sunday
The BDC timetable is here:
http://www.thebritishdriftchampionsh...e/timetable-5/
One point of note - You have to be on site at Nissan rather early on Sunday so we are strongly recommending camping for going on the stand so you aren't having to set off at 4am
So where is the event?
The Nissan Plant (or NMUK) is adjacent to the A19 as it passes between Sunderland and Washington. It is also easily accessible from the A1(m)
Rough geographical location is 6 miles SE of Newcastle.
(To clear up somewhat of a common misconception - Sunderland is not part of Newcastle! )
