Gt2871 is the most popular choice mate, it's a direct replacement for the stock turbo and with supporting mods will make 350.
Depends on what you've already got but have a look at h-devs site, that's what a lot of people on here go by.

You could comfortably get 350hp with a GT2871R 52 trim 0.64 exhaust A/R, there's a good one for sale at the moment

If mid-300's are what you're aiming for then try the GT2860RS ("Disco Potato") as it would be a good alternative to the larger GT2871R & will easily make that power.

I thought the RS have a pretty poor history of reliability on this board?

I've got a new gt2860. Really good turbo. No more lag than stock t28 and a LOT more grunt. 1 bar actuator. My avcr is hardly doing anything the boost is extremely stable all way to red line.

I sacrifice few hp of the 2871r for driveability.

First I've heard of it - the only folks I know that have had them haven't had a bother. Got any examples?

I hate to piss on your chips, but I found the GT2871R pulled harder and spooled earlier than the GT2860RS ..........

I wouldnt look any further at the moment, when teh GTX's start becoming more common that will probably be the way to go.
