In the S14 Technical section they have got a library of power figures, I reckon it would be good to have one of these in the S13 section.
Fill in the related sections and post away!

    Car
Mutant S13 CA18det which ran in 2010 BDC semi pro

    Power-related mods

CA18det forged engine (steel crank, rods, pistons 9.0:1, metal headgasket, topo mounted manifold, T04e Garrett turbo, 38mm external wastegate, 3" straight through exhaust, nismo 555cc injectors, walbro 255lph pump, PFC.

    Boost - 1.1 Bar
(dropping to around .9 at peak rpm due to poor wastegate spring)

    RR Results
    335 bhp (flywheel figure)
    ~300 (can't find the graphs!) ft.lbs

It's actually very progressive, it drives amazing considering the turbo size.

He could of broke 500 but sacrifice low down power. I could go more but next stage would be bigger cams, solid lifters, oversize valves and bigger ic and throttle body

I'm not actually sure I'd say at the fly but would need to confirm.

That sounds like loads of power for a CA. Nice one! Must be pretty hairy in the rain

That's much better, that 770 was way oversized, you've shifted your power band by 1000rpm, must feel so much better to drive.

Is the pulsar turbo just a Garrett clone? Nice figures there mate, didn’t you have Jack and Alex work on it last time around?

It is a Chinese copy but for chinky turbo the quality is spot on, quite a few comparison videos on yt.

And no it was previously mapped by Tom Hudson when he was at fensport.

The 770 was a result of not so amazing advice from a tuner

Don't beat yourself up. I trusted full race and ended up with a turbo that could push a 747 along. We all make mistakes.
