Sprayed box section wax inside the suspension arms

Rubber washer fits on lower arm.

    Lower arm supported

    Camber arm supported

Fitted the hub then realised I couldn't get the front upper arm bolt in

Fitted the front upper arm and it's now sorted

Rubber bushed suspension arms have to be torqued up with the car at normal ride height otherwise it will knacker the bushes. Since I don’t happen to have lift on the drive the easiest way is to jack the suspension to the required ride height. This is easy to do without the strut fitted.

I have just mailed the previous owner of this car......

It's now going back together, Av a look

If you fancy doing some crushing in it when it's finished, you are welcome

    Regards

    P

He has done quite a bit of touring in his S2000, like he did with my 200SX. He told me he fancied a different drive. I thought it would be cool if this car does one more European tour before it's retirement
Hope you are up for this Dave

Have you considered dropping this off at a Motor Museum when you are finished? Places like Haynes don't own all of the cars, they just look after them for the owners.

I doubt anyone would be interested in a 10 year old Datsun but it's a good idea

The plan is to protect it enough so it’s still in mint condition when it’s 26 years old I wonder how many SX’s will be around in 2023?

True, I guess in that perspective my old Datsun is doing fine. I know of only 2 others, alot of the other 2 doors were scrapped. Still 2,500 were made. There must be plenty more.
