I was at a rolling road day at Dastek and they thought my S14 was a skyline. So much for tuning companys and their car knowledge

Haha I guess the most common one is "ooh is it a skyline" but a guy I work with calls it a japanese jag which I think is a nice compliment!

Oh just wait until you have a full blown arguement with a 10 year old

    "Nice Skyline"

    Err it's not a Skyline it's a 200sx

    "No it's not it's a Skyline"

Are you for real? I think I know what car I drive

Lol, had it at McDonalds once by a young lad. But then I think "I was like that once, young, eager and clueless" so I actually take it as a compliment. I correct them and if I can I have a little chat and talk about the car with them, but I think it's funky!

I just hope when the GTR is here that they don't say "Nice 200SX"

That's bad form dude, fair enough even if they're thick, but when you correct them, and they still fcuk it up.

I mean a potential buyer seeing an "R32 Skyline" printout means nothing for your 200

Yup I get that a lot. Possibly as there are no badges on my S14a bar the S15 lightening badge on the bonnet. Pick a Jap manufacturer and its been called it (Honda, 'Bishi, Toyota and so on!)

i know mines abit petty but i usually get "nice 200sx you've got there". grrrrrr it bugs the shit out of me since theres 180sx stamped on the rear windows and on the garnish... there is a big feckn difference especially since mine has a kit and lacks rust
