Made some progress on the 'blue' nissan and got the engine stripped out and all the salvageable body parts removed. now all that is left under the bonnet is the gearbox and wiring etc then inside there is the dashboard and clocks. Then all the suspension arms and all that

So today I took the apex elbow ans manifold into work to clean them up and here is how they came out after a quick blast in the rotary washing thing and a sand blast

Yeah a shame but also a blessing as it was rotten! Who owned it when you drove it?

So today I sold the mx5 as decided that although it is awesome to drive its just too small for my needs (picking up nissan parts) so on the look out for something bigger but for no more than £500 with really cheap running costs

Also sold the clear side indicators and bought some us spec side markers for when I am running the import wings

So the latest purchase is a set of clear side markers to replace the side indicators due to running import spec front wings
