Clean standard S14a - is it worth 30,000 Aussie Dollars?

Interesting watch, standard S14a full detail....

What does everyone make of the estimated value though?

Value is probably about right, Aus is actually quite expensive. Watching might car mods they are saying 2 door imprezas go for like 40k+ which is around 20k GBP.

I think that’s the other car owner by the 1000hp RB28 S14. I saw his green stock car had been detailed recently.

uk prices vary wildly for some reason?

£10k for an S14a with low mileage and a sorted underbody seems like it’s there or there abouts.

This chap wants £16k for his s13 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-Niss...YAAOSwjj1fHLBw

As they get rarer the prices are creeping up.

    Aussies are mad.

Laugh at anyone that uses a H-dev "stage" chip for 250bhp at wheels. Have to have a £1000 40 Mhz 32bit ECU that needs a 36 tooth crank trigger wheel as it can't work with stock CAS because the 1 degree signal is too fast for it. By the time it's installed with specific loom etc it costs £2000. Odd that stock ECU is 1Mhz 8bit and works just fine.

I am fairly sure that that car sold last year for far, far less than that. £16,000 is dreamer money, a very niche market indeed.

There was a Red S14a that a lad was trying to sell for £15k because it had like 20k miles on the clock, and it was his late father's pride and joy. The market just isn't that strong, and not until all the drift pre-madonna's have the next big thing will the prices start to rise that much.

That said, parts are always on the up.

In Australia I think 30k is pretty close to the mark.

    Have a look on carsales.com.au
