    It really suits the 'stang.

I went down a slightly different route.

On the subject of V8s, McLaren’s V8 is derived from the Nissan VRH series

Not quite; they bought the architecture rights of the Tom Walkinshaw Racing version of the VRH and then promptly decided it was a complete waste of money and started pretty much from scratch anyway

Well it does have a 90 degree flat planed V8 with 2 turbos so it is loosely derived

I can see why people keep going back. Loved my S Type - it was just a shame it was a problem child.

Its a very different animal, The eco was very much like a stage 2 S14, it was always ready and like a yappy terrier, it was a good fast point to point car. The GT isnt as responsive and feels like a fatter lazier creature but once its going its amazing and the noise is superb Just firing it up puts a massive smile on the face.

Fuelwise, not much in it, the EB did around 26mph, this is around 20 so far. For my mileage it works out about an extra tank a month.

Liking that mate. Not usually a fan of painted brakes but that's working.

The colour of the car is still stunning

Looks fantastic! They are my favourite wheels and I keep looking to import a set. Did you buy in the UK? What size did you go for? Is yours a 19? If so it has lazy gearing compared to the 15-17s and as such doesn't feel as responisve. People on Mustang6g are looking at swapping the ratio to 4.09. I know what you mean about starting it, now I have swapped the exhaust it just makes me grin, the sound is intoxicating. I get around 22ish mpg out of mine using Vpower.

Apparently it’s cool to have bigger tyres on the rear than the front. Ask Scolding
