TBH I took a stab in the dark. I am assuming basic rates are different in different dealerships. For instance a salesman at Fiat or Renault would be paid less than one at Merc or BMW.
TBH, your wage is good or bad dependant on the area you live in.
lol, knowing a few other Sales guys, BMW were paying 13.5k last time! Ferrari were only paying 18k basic, but huge profit, so big commission!! Its ups and downs!
Same way that public workers were told to go to work each day, pay X amount into their pensions and receive Y amount when they retire?
Pensions are different bonuses....

As for pensions, plenty of people in the private sector have lost most or all of their pension funds that they paid their own money into. Excuse me if I dont shed a tear for people who had a final salary pension with no contribution required that now have to put in 5% to be matched 15% by the government, at least they are still getting something.
Regardless, pension reform is not the same as denying an individual a promised bonus, not a valid argument for me.

when did that happen have i missed somthing as last time i checked nearly all those things were still publicly owned and run but have been opened up to allow them to be sucked dry by private companies!

Err, the Roads are maintained and built by private companies, schools are becoming academies and universities/colleges already hold their own bursary, power, gas, telecoms and water all became private companies that you can buy shares in. Do you understand what privitisation means?

I think the proof of the fact that Capitalism does work and communism doesnt might be ......... lets see, the collapse of communism on a global scale and the continued success, including the uptake of capitalism itself to replace communism, of the capitalist countries over the last 40 years? Sure, its not perfect, but when the whole frickin country is up in arms about immigration, dole bludgers, unneccessary/unjust welfare payments, union strike action and a lack of respect from an entire generation its probably not the best time to be advocating a return to socialism to me, particularly when the bloated public sector is one of the biggest issues our economy is suffering at the moment, again a hallmark of a socialist state.

Private companies dont just build roads out of the goodness of there harts they are funded by public money! so where as before we paid the work force direct through the council we now pay vastly over inflated prices to private companies who take a massive chunk as profit and deliver us a half assed product way over its initial budget and way over time..
schools again all propped up with public money being paid to private companies for sub standard education delivery!
have you seen our countrys utilities infrastucture with your own eyes seen the cable thats i the ground or the pipes that carry our water and gas? its on its last legs! and why? because we privatised it! its been asset stripped and kept on life support for the smallest of outlays and for maximum profitability.. its ready to collapse

Our country isnt suffering because it has a welfare system or a public sector with afew overpaid dicks.. its suffering because we borrowed to much.. people went out and baught houses they couldnt afford, goods that were way to expencive to pay for and it all went on credit because thats the only way capitalism works.. it needs people to be in debt so it can sell it on and make more cash.
but whatever im just a communist who wants to see responsible banking. a private sector that has some kind of moral standards. and a country that can provide for everyone who lives in it not just the lucky..

where did i claim it was efficiently run? infact i said there were overpaid dicks in the public sector trust me i know a couple. but knowing them them i also know how much money the public sector is rapped for by the private sector who see it as a cash cow.. there both to blame for the ineffiencies in the public sector.
Maybe he should be the next head of RBS.
