Piman2k's Track S14A - Powered by Full Race / Borg Warner / Mazworx

Flatteringly a lot of people have asked me loads of questions about my car or have asked to see pics of it being built. Well I've been running an informal blog that I've tidied up and put together here if you'd like to read it:

    http://projectpw5.piman2k.com/

    Edit - Now 405bhp / 380lbft

It's made up of some cool pictures and some phone camera pictures so you'll have to excuse them but it does detail the car literally from the day I got it to how it's turned out. It's also quite old in places, like the weight reduction table, that needs to be updated to reflect everything that's come out.

But apart from that I hope it's worth your time and you get a good sneak around how this build has gone. And believe me, there's plenty more to come!

    Thanks for looking!

    Ryan

And to think that you once told me that you didn't have time to do a build thread .

I enjoyed have a flick through that .

Hahaha, what can I say? I lied!

No I just wanted to keep it under wraps I guess, get on with it in our own way. To be fair I did a LOT of the blog a long time after various work had been done so it wasn't a total lie

Thanks guys, glad you like it! I promise to get some proper interior and underbody shots as soon as possible but I need to repaint the interior for sure.

Ive been looking at your blog over the months after you told me about it, keeping quiet as promised. Awsome build up and glad it all worked out in the end after the few troubles you had. Looking foward to hopefully seeing the finished car on sunday.

Ohhh I recognise that when it was black....was that Evil Scooby's car?

Edit: It was indeed, just spotted his name. Probably loads of pics of it floating around from up here in its former life

Wahey, we have a winner lol. Correctamundo mate I was actually trying to find Ross's email to send him some photos now she's completed. Do you keep in touch?

Edit - I downloaded all the pictures from his For Sale advert and folder when I bought the car, if there are more I'd be keen to see them.

I've got him on Facebook mate, I'll send him the link if you like?

I'll have a wee look, he used to come up to Crail quite often so there's bound to be a few pics around

Just had a read through, looks like a well thought out blog and a very well planned car build.
Hope to see you at a track day in 2012- I need to do more driving and less tinkering!

Thanks tomo, you too mate. I'll be on circuit in November by the looks of it so unless you're off the track until beyond then.....

Edit, and it's funny you pick up on being well thought out. I appreciate you doing that because it's true, I knew what I wanted the car to look like and what I wanted it to do, and built that. I didn't just build a parts pile.

Awesome write up mate. I even forgot there was a piece of my car on yours! Haha.
Love how the car has come out, you should be very proud.
