Yeah I'm looking to lower straight away, but converting to s14 arms etc as up front has a weird setup and want to try fit s14 rear subframe to delete hicas and change all rear arms at the same time, so not an easy slap some coilovers on kinda job lol

Mint car, can't believe I haven't seen it around yet.
Calling out for some proper jim tyte yo VIP stylez!
I'll be honest I don't really venture out of Southend much haha and don't worry it's coming! Had some deliveries turn up already, just trying to find time to fit bits now!
And I'll be honest swifty my main reason as silly as it may be is I think it looks horrible, it's also unnecessary weight and it's doesn't actually do much so I'd rather have it gone and some nice uprated arms lol

Surely to goodness, you can get to Wickford or Bowers Gifford (The Gun) for our monthly meet !
I keep going back up the thread to look at the under-bonnet pic. That engine looks so cool.
I'm sure I could one night, I popped over in my 14a before but couldn't see anybody or any sbodies so left lol
I'm not a fan of under the bonnet at the minute, reminds me too much of a neo engine and I'm not a fan of them haha but it is nice to have a clean and (so far) un abused engine bay lol

I'll PM you my mobile then you can call when you get there. In the Winter we don't tend to hang around outside unless there is a car to be "looked over".
Ok mate I've got your pm if I can get down one night I'll give you a bell

-----update-----
Well it's not much of an update, still waiting for wheels and a few other bits so only been able to do a few little things today.
Although it has been nice getting so many deliveries again lately
And something I've been quite looking forward to arriving
Now I can replace the ones already in the car that have lost their smell.
Also had to fit some nice shiny and new bonnet lifters as the old ones where shagged
Then out with the old
And in with nice new hks filter
Love freeing up space in the engine bay! Also fitted it temporary with green filter but will be switching to blue when it arrives as that's the theme I'm going to be going with this one.
Also took off the engine cover to see what the block looked like and see what was going on under there, it's not the prettiest of engines that's for sure!
Also found what looks like a couple of broken connectors
So unfortunately I think I'm going to have to leave the cover on this one!
Also ditched the standard
For nice new blue to match my scheme
And that's about it for now as seeing as it's an old Nissan he decided (just as it started snowing) that he was going to have a moment, so after having the aa turn up and spray some easy start then say "nope, sorry don't have a clue what the issue is as I don't even know what the car is" I had to be recovered back home so now I'm on to fix and repair instead of modify for now lol I know the battery's shagged so ordered up a ultima yellow top and also have a feeling the issue may be fuel pump, I already have a walbro I brought for this sitting at the lock up so when I get a minute I'll pick that up and swap it out and go from there

Ok mate, well if I can get it working by the 19th I'll try pop in and meet everybody

So managed to find time today to swap over the battery's
Out with the old
Found the first bit of rust too
And in with the new
Tried to fire it up and no joy, so pulled the fuel line and tried priming and starting, nothing. So hopefully it's now just the fuel pump, but I've already got a walbro ready to fit in this so I'll try get that done over the weekend and if still no joy investigate further.
Then once it's running now needs a visit to the body shop too as crazy girlfriends might be good in bed but are no good for your car!
Hopefully I'll be able to get it repaired and never know it's been done

So today I thought I'd try fitting the new walbro to see if it fixed the problem of no starting lol
So pulled all the boot carpets and found the fuel pump
New walbro and relay
Pulled the old pump
Fitted new walbro
Wired up the relay and tied all the cables back up
Turned the key....... hey presto! Fired straight away, also idling a lot nicer now and generally sounds healthier with new battery and pump.
I did however find my boot is leaking from somewhere?
Spare wheel well had a good 1.5 inches of water, so now need to investigate this
Oh and I also fitted this little bit of loveliness

Top work mate, coming along nicely.
I dread to think how much that ropey thing for the mirror was lol
Cheers mate. It's not as bad as you're thinking, I know some of them are £80 even seen some for over £100!
And after a very long wait my wheels finally turned up this morning!
Just need some rubber now and they can go on

Nice one, what sizes are they?
Also, what are the pink and blue BB looking things? Some sort of air freshener?
They're 19" only 8.5j all round though.
Yeah they're air freshener that go in the ash tray. I had them in the car when I picked it up so found out what they were and had to have them for that jdm life haha

It doesn't like UK roads. The ball joints wear very quick and it gives some frankly downright dangerous handling characteristics. My R32 joints were shot through (yet somehow passed the MOT no bother) and it tried to kill me on a regular basis. Sorting it made it a different car, but even after relatively little mileage I could feel them wearing out again.
So seeing as i seem to have been in a bit of a rut lately and a right lazy bastard to boot I decided to drag my lazy arse up the lock up and get back to working on the cars!
So finished work early and quickly fitted this....
Old plain and boring
And added a little more colour
And after nearly writing the massive jap boat off because it didn't want to stop at a roundabout I thought I best pull my finger out and get round to making the brakes better, so dug out a set of r33 gtst calipers I had lying around and started to give them a little tidy up
Few coats of metallic blue later and this is what I'm left with
