    'Moon Face' front pipe

Saw this advertised on a Option DVD. It's huge and goes right to the back of the turbo (replacing the turbo elbow).

Can anyone get one? Has anyone ever heard of them???

    Cheers!

Wont that cause problems for the exhaust flow?

Itd be ok for an ext w/g but I cant imagine itll be good for a turbo with intergral w/g.

I think its meant to work with standard turbos/standard position turbos. its nothing really weird, just has the turbo elbow and front pipe as one piece, and larger diameter than a normal front pipe. would be good if you could find a price, and if if anyone knows if the turbo will be in the standard RPS13 position when its attached to an S14 manifold on an S14 SR?

Apparently the lambda boss is the the wrong size but they look good and apparently fit very well.
I think they do stainless ones too.

oh, they deffo do S14 ones.

there's about 2.5AUS$ to the squid.

same kinda thing, but the moonface one is much nicer, and bigger than 3"! I never trust stuff on ebay to actually fit properly, or even bare a resemblance to the photo

The S13 one fits properly, some people on NICO have them.

Why would you need bigger than 3"?

Yeah its very similar to that one

I've got a spare cracked exhaust manifold and I'm thinking of getting it modified to run an external wastegate. This would mean I can weld up the internal one on my turbo and hopefully it will be more stable at high boost.

I beleive HPI make a full 3" turbo elbow so you could also use that.
