    Commodore or Monaro?

If everything goes my way in the next few weeks, I'm gonna go a bit silly and get a Holden...

    or

    Hmmmmm

I think the first one is sillier, and therefore better value for money..

Well, that'd be eligible for Company Van tax, as opposed to company car tax...

    V8 Ute: £1000 taxable benefit

    V8 Monaro: £6500 taxable benefit

    hmmmmmmm

Go for a Commodore! They made great computers back in the early nineties!

So the Ute would be the sensible thing to do then
Think of all the shopping you could get in the back...

The sort of petrol bills I'd get with one of them, I couldn't afford any shopping....

    As for Steve's comment

I might ring em up and ask for

    A Holden Commodore 64

i bet if you take it to your local vauxhall main dealer you get the same sort of silly questions as we do taking 200's to nissan.

    "is it an omega?"

Try taking a Full House ex Semi Works Tarmac Manta 400 to a Vauxhall Dealer to get a replacement rear light cluster....

I *didn't* need to take it up there

I did it purely to piss em off

Saturday morning, very busy with punters looking to buy Calibra's, Omega's, etc

    When rrrRRRAAAAAAAAPP-papapapapp-BANG-daaaarrrRRRAAAAAPPP arrives!!

That really irritates dealer principals that does

Especially when the Front wings were emblazoned in 12" high red lettering with the Name of a neighbouring Dealership

Did the same thing with my old E28 Bmw 528i, at main dealer BMW, exept park it on the sales pitch, even Lined it up on the forecourt, so to keep the presentation factor - nose out, Pity the car had silver doors, green bonnet ,red primer ,grey primer, steel wheels and the peice d'resistance One headlight missing!

The salesmen were agast, lined up at the front window with there jaws open!

Went back 2 weeks later, Senoir salesman came out to have a look tought the car looked superb in the new paint. (Baltic Blue)

To be honest, I wouldn't complain at having to drive either of them - the Monaro is less Omega-like IMO, but it would hardly be a hardship to drive a Commodore.

Would I stir things up too much if I said that the Ford Falcon(current model) looks meaner?

    Sorry for the digress.
