    Deep Purple.

Oh, hang on, what about Yes?

Actually Rush have to top my poll of the best band ever.

But the other two are nearly as good

Ah right, but it depends on your defenition of best. Genesis under Collins was bloody good entertainment for 2 hours.

ZZ Top was heartpounding, ear bleeding rocking entertainment.

Having given it some more though I'll also throw Queen into the ring. Excellent in every respect

    The Beatles

    U2

    The Police

Dare I say Oasis (personal favorite!)

and just to wind up danny (who should have no say in anyones opinions cause he doesnt like Jimi) The experience.

    Wham

Edited to say rather predictably 'The stone roses' (Fantastic, but not best ever... maybe)

Damn, forgot about Queen - one of my great regrets is never going to see them live while I had the chance.

I'm a collins fan too, Gabrielle isn't to my taste with genesis or solo

ZZ Top have LOADS of material!!!! The only problem with them is there post Eliminator output, prior to that they were GREAT!!!! But as a whole, I have to say they are 'just' very good.

My fave has to be Lynyrd Skynyrd (the original pre-plane crash line up). Then im not too sure, Buffalo Springfield, Free, Humble Pie, The Outlaws, Poco?!?!? Cant decied

OMG, how could I forget Pink Floyd??!?!?!?!!? @me

We'll have to agree to disagree because PG is a genius in my eyes, especially solo.
