My wife's oldest friend has come to stay with us for a few days. She arrived this evening and was proudly showing off her new car, a Peugeot 206CC convertible jobby.

I came out to look at it and said "It looks like a skip with and folding hood".

This did not go down well, and she's still not talking to me

when my sisters friend was referring to her megane coupe as a sports car it was so difficult to bite my tongue.

then there was last week when my missus' brother was considering a new car - focus c-max tdci

. foot stayed out of mouth until dad-in-law asked my opinion on diesels. 'noisy, dirty and slow' came the reply.
managed to refrain from telling him my thoughts on the focus though.

Why have you started refering to yourself in the third person? Are you starting a second career as a Hip-Hop artist?
