Bren, there's a lock for reverse. You can remove it completely so you just push down for reverse (1 handed). If you leave the lock in place then you need to remove it and press down (2 hands), but you'll not be able to accidentally engage reverse when shifting.

    Dear All

These shifters are excellent, I have one in my Evo and it is considerably quicker than the H pattern. They are easy to drive on the road and it takes about 10 minutes to convert your driving style!

You can select reverse with one hand even with the safety lever in place. They work even better when coupled with a full throttle gearshift.

When buying you must specify you want the shifter, gear light and gear gaitor to get the complete kit. It takes about 1-2 hours to install and setup. Total costs in Jap Yen are 147,000 plus delivery, VAT & 10% duty.

    Hope that helps!

    Cheers

    Simon

He's probably bundled them then Bren cos it really doesn't. Make sure he's charging you right, less your bit off off course. I've got their yen retail list in front of me and it says the shifter aone is 98 and the shift display is 18.

    Regards

Dan - We pay 10% duty on all our Jap orders always have done?! We do order between £10,000 - £20,000 every 3 weeks so maybe we pay more due to volume? God knows?

I sold the wheels yesterday, cheers for the link! I got my 19" Volk TE37's for the R34 today as well...............bloody gorgeous!

These shifters are 120,000 JPY for the S13 & S14, the displays are 18,000 JPY and the gaitor is 9,000 JPY. All Jap retail prices of course.

    Cheers

You shouldn't pay more due to the volume of stuff you're bringing in Simon, duty on cars themselves is 10% but not on the parts.

Aye, duty doesnt go up with volume. We pay an average of 4% on car parts and thats on orders of similar sizes to yours, £8-£15k.

Can any of the traders here quote a price for supply? I know this might not be easy but I think many of us would like to see if it's worth getting a budget sorted for one.

I think I could fit one myself easy enough so I would be looking at a price for supply of all parts needed to fit.

Dan & Bren - We definatley pay just under 10% for all our duty charges + VAT on import. We have used the same Jap Supplier, delivery comapany and clearance agent and the charges have always been this much.

Oh well I had better check that the correct code is being used with my agent, when I get a second to think!!!

    Cheers

The amount of duty doesn't change if it's 2nd hand mate, it's still the same. Car parts are 4.5%
