    Ikeya Formula Sequential

How much could any of you traders get one of these for me including shift light. S13. If you are unsure of what it is you can see one here. The price on this web site is $1118 but I remember takakaira being expensive. It also has the shiftlight for the same price again (misprint maybe) but I am sure they come with them as it is only 2 wires and a tiny little led display.

    Cheers Richie

Chris I have been in an Evo with one fitted and it really is a well made piece of kit. It is also supposed to drop 0.9sec off your 1/4 mile time. Does anyone have a price for one?

Norris designs sell the Ikeya shifter. Advertised at £11,500 !!!!
Hopefully a typo. They're 120,000 yen which works to £650 plus ship & VAT

Dont ask me, I can beat the syncros on my S14s box as it is.

    Richie and Enigma,

How serious are you about buying one of these? Im getting onto the manufacturers about buying a batch but would need to know if youre serious or not.

I would hope that I could get them cheaper than £850.

i have seen one on an rx7, one of the option ones, didnt think much of it at the time? but that was probably down to the driver? if it can quicken up my gear changes which i am usually pretty well ahead of most, more often than not the car is usually the let down speed wise. so if this can iron out these 2nd to 3rd then 3rd to 2nd, it should also illiminate what i did in the 14a is hitting 2nd instead of 4th, should'nt really happen as it shouldnt have engaged but my lightening change must have flown in before it even thought about it.....

so if these get down to a good price will be worth a look, i pressume it puts less stress on the selecta as it is all pre determined through distances, you just abuse the new stick, only applicable to hard drivers....
