    Stroker Kit =)

right, hopefully should be biting the bullet soon and getting a stroker kit within the next fortnight.
what kits can you offer, some specs of the kit would be nice too. (as well as prices of course)
have been looking at the Tomei kit that mr norris sells but for some reason they are sod without rods. do all the kits come with no rods?? reason i ask is if the kit is all matched and balanced etc surely sticking a set of uprated rods in will require those to be balanced on top of the price?
FYI mr norris has the Tomei kit (no rods) for 2200.
will be calling him on monday to enquire but wouldnt mind if any of you fine trader chaps would be able to help me out.
so, best prices, who by and specs please gents.

*crosses fingers for a better price and cant wait for his stroker kit*

You could put an sr20 in it and do a 500bhp challenge instead. 500 is easier to say than 450 anyway

You get a choice of exactly what you want in the kit mate. It's possible to stroke an engine out using just a crank, a crank and pistons, or crank, pistons and rods.

I'll have a look into it for you soon and come back to you.

price for crank+pistons and crank+pistons+rods would be spot on mate if possible

tbh mate, they say the CA is a good revvy engine so it may suit the stroker better than the SR.

and then SR's are cheap enough to come by these days and a 2.2 would be nice

    Sorry

    No

Tomei only do the kit as Crank and Pistons set. I'd do it for £2000 for you and you'd get full back up if you need it as we're authorised Tomei dealers for the UK

We can have the rods made to go with the kit at £900

    Thanks

    nice one Dan cheers matey

gonna make sure i'm doing the right thing here, put a thread regarding CA vs SR then i'll get back to you after a strokey beard meeting, some more interrogation of gary and some pondering.

defo want one either ways, just dont know if it will be for a CA or SR yet lol.

and yes 2.2 would be nice. are they much more than the stroker for the CA?

btw will probably want some Tomei cams and pulleys of you soon too now i know you are the main Tomei kingpin

yeah, call me fussy buit i prefer to go through authorised dealers, i find you get better support in the event of problems etc.
better than being left with yer willy in yer hand pi$$ing in the wind with 3k of stuff. (metaphorically speaking o course )

SR20 kit without rods is slightly more than the CA kit, but they do offer the SR as a kit with rods too, which then makes the whole SR kit slightly cheaper than the CA kit inc rods, if you follow
