Just concernd how to attach the vacuum hose to the T as its a lot smaller.

If it's the thin pipe that comes with the Autometer ones then use about 30mm of the silicon as a sleeve for the thin pipe. I used a bit of adhesive on the outside of the thin pipe to fix it in place.
