Brake lines

Hi guys, I was putting new front calipers on the car and was trying to remove the flare nut that was connected to the caliper from the back, which is connected to the hardline, and ended up rounding it completely I was wondering if anyone has any idea of where I can get a new hardline or if I should just get braided lines. If I am to get braided lines, I would need to remove the hardlines as they are gone. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Don't think that you can buy the hardlines new. Might be a case of making some up.

Damn do you know of any braided lines that would get rid of the hardlines and replace them. I know gktech do them for the 300zx but not sure of any for the s14

Have you tried Amayama? I got a hardline for my S15 last month from them and they are the same as S14. Try here: https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-c.../200sx/S14-rhd

Nice one. I think the part number is 46245 for the hard line I need not sure though

Get a brake bender kit and copper pipe from Amazon, and use your old hard line as the template to make a new one. Or if you know anyone with a brake line bender, just get the pipe and fittings.
Is that the hard line that goes from the caliper to the rubber line? If so, I replaced them with braided ones years back that go from the caliper straight to the hardline in the wheel arch. I think I got them from DB Power at the time. I'm sure Driftworks etc. can advise.

Thanks guys if I'm able to find some braided lines, that go from the wheel arch to the caliper might get them depending on how much the cost. Otherwise just get the kit from amazon and try and learn.

just buy some braided lines mate, it will be much easier. straight from the chassis to the caliper. Hel performance ones are decent. they do a black one if your not into stupid colours

Wow things have gotten dear!:-0 I just spotted on that website Hardrace rear droplinks for 91 quid a pair! 10 years ago I bought two pairs for 15 quid each just to have as spares. I still have them in the attic!

I got my braided line kit off Slide Motorsport if I remember right but Garage D, JDM Garage, Hel and Goodridge might be worth a call.

Got a set of isr brake lines for the front and finally managed to get the new lines and caliper on. Thanks once again guys for the help. Just one more thing does anyone know how much the torque the knuckle to caliper bolts need?

Looks like 53 lb/ft min to 71 lb/ft max
