    NISMO gear lever

I came across a NISMO gear lever Fleabay, and while I never wanted a short shifter, I bought it while these parts are still available for these old girls. Also a NIMSO one should be pretty mild and quality. I needed to change the gearbox boot anyway as it was in bits.

So I fitted it today. The difference? The standard one is plain steel and the NISMO one is black! I didn't bother measuring them, as by eye, any difference, if any is minute.

So, NISMO gear lever fitted, new upper and lower nylon bushes, new gear lever retaining circlip, and a new gearbox rubber boot.

That snap ring is a right pain to fit.
I notice you didn’t even get a Nismo sticker lol

No not even a sticker! :-( But it was handy getting all the new bushes and boot pre-fitted.
I had to get my 10 year old to help hold down the gear lever when she finished piano lessons, so that I could get the snap ring back in place.
