    Help needed

Hi all I have a s14a with the below issue

To cut a long story short the engine has been out of the car for about 3 years it’s been stored in my unit so all dry and no damp but finally got around to refitting it and now we have no start it will crank over very strong but no life i have worked through the following

I have replaced the fuel pump as that was damaged
    New spark plugs
    Checked for fuel
    Checked all wiring and fuses
    Checked timing
Doing a leak down test tomorrow

So I then got more into it and have found that I only have about 50 psi compression across the four bores could only do cold test due to none start.
I have dropped oil down the spark plug holes and still no better

What’s annoying the most is the car ran beautifully before the engine was removed.

It is stage 1 setup on a HDEV chip
I have no check engine light flashing

Just trying to find if any one else has had similar before I start having to look at rebuilds.

    Thanks

Are the plugs wet? Are the fuel lines the correct way around? 50psi is very low though

The plugs were wet and smelling of fuel I have swapped the pipes around and now back to rule them out

I can hear the injectors working and when I disconnect the cas the fire as well so they all seem to be working.

Iím about to do the leak down test now and see what that provides

    Update

After leak down test it looks like two bores have stuck inlet valves and the other two have stuck exhaust valves so time to do some freeing up

Hi all scrap all previous as found out that the car wasn’t fully in gear so it was pushing the piston down so back to square one as the leak test now shows very little loss.

I’m going to be back at the car this weekend so any ideas of help would be greatly appreciated

does it start if you spray brake fluid down the intake?
i think you can use 501 capless bulbs in the injector plugs to see if they are getting a signal.
have you a differnt ECU to try?

I havenít got a spare ecu as itís a 14a with bloody nats 2 so needs halo and keys to match

Iíll try the 501 trick this weekend as I know Iím getting fuel to the injectors

We did try the brake cleaner trick and that didnít work

It's not immobilised is it? Pull a plug and see if it sparks.

Is the compression good or not? You said it was 50psi earlier, but also might not have tested it correctly?

The compression is down it was the cylinder leakage test that needed re doing

I have spark so not immobilised just seems odd as was running fine before engine removed

We have tried bump starting with no joy

Iím at the stage of looking for recommendation of a quality place that I can take it too and get them to sort it out Iím sure itís something simple but just loosing interest and not got loads of spare time between work and kids to keep going at it
