This is the most money, actually the only money apart from servicing that I have spent on Big Red in the last 12 years. But if doing a job, I like to do it right. Or I should say, get it done right.
As recommended on the forum, I went with an ACT organic clutch this time. My Exceedy organic was slipping like a drunk on ice.
- ACT Organic street performance kit. (Clutch plate, pressure plate, release bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool).
- Refurbished replacement standard flywheel. (Machined, balanced and painted).
- Nissan flywheel bolts.
- ARP clutch pressure plate bolts.
- Engine rear crank shaft oil seal. (Nissan)
- Gearbox rear oil seal. (Nissan)
- Gearbox front oil seal. (Nissan)
- Gearbox drain plug. (Nissan)
- Gearbox fill plug. (Nissan)
- Diff drain plug. (Nissan)
- Diff fill plug. (Nissan)
- Gearbox oil (Red Line MT-90 75w90 GL4).
- Differential oil (Kaaz limited slip diff oil 80w90 GL5).
- Clutch fluid flushed and bled.
When the box was off I may as well do as much preventative maintenance as I can. And genuine parts are such good value from EFI Solutions in Oz.
