I’m wondering if it’s to do with headlamp washers?
My original part has it, and the car had headlamp washers once upon a time, but the replacement part I have doesn’t have it.

Headlamp lift/retract. Headlamp wash is a switch on the console and not stalk.
Yep, winner.. my other switch must have come from a PS. Swapped it over and all good.. well, almost. My pop ups only pop up on the dash switch, ot when you turn on the lights at the stalk!
