First oil change with big turbo

Hi all, first oil change after going big top mount turbo (Garett GTX3076r)

I'm using the same oil as I was running prior to the upgrade (Castrol Edge 5W/40 as discussed here: https://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread....specifications) and following the same procedure, i.e. drain/replace filter/top up to just under full mark on the dipstick etc. I always prime before starting

Anything in particular to be wary of with the bigger turbo?

Yeah, if you don't get the oil level exactly right to the millimetre, you risk blowing the welds on the intake manifold.

Just change as normal, warm it up, drop the oil, drop the filter, replace filter and sump washer, make sure everything is suitably tight, fill the oil with about 3.5 litres if its standard sump, get it warm then finally check the oil once its fully cooled and top up if needed.
