Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting some new wheels and was wondering if anyone could share their set ups with me. I'm currently looking at some used ones that are:
Front - 215/40/r17 et35 8j
Rear - 235/40/r17 et35 9j
I don't want to roll the fenders. Was wondering if they would fit or what would be the best that people think and have run before

I ran 215/40 R17 on a 7 or 7.5J wheel (can't remember exactly), no problems on stock arches.
I'm running
Front 17 x 8J et35 with 225/45/17
Rear 17x 9J et 38 with 255/40/17
Car is lowered about 25-30mm all round and I don't have any problems with anything touching.
It was a bit stiff and uncomfortable at first but fiddling with the suspension and fitting softer sidewall tyres sorted that.

It's worth being a pain and pointing out that not all tyres are the same size. My 235 R888 was significantly different to my 235 FK452.
But at ET35 I'm sure they'll fit, you can always add a spacer to make them less weak.
Thanks guys. I ended up getting the rims and got some 5mm spacers so that they aren't rubbing
