Is it not worth getting it repaired?

Trust me I want to but it's that big it blew out the bottom a few months back I re welded it and it blew out the top the inside is completely disintegrated if I could get original I would but can't.

The HKS ones are excellent quality, I think the only one they still make for the S14 is the Hi-Power409

That's the one I'm looking at will it be better than having a cat back one made by a shop I've been quoted 560 by a shop or the hks cat back 409 for £430 it's on sale what do you think? Don't want it too loud but my other one hit the subframe which I tried from japspeed

I've never had one myself (I've been through Blitz NUR Spec, 5Zigen Fireball, HKS Silent HiPower and an Apexi GT Spec) and the HKS was probably the nicest. If you could find a now discontinued Silent HiPower I'd grab it. The 409 should be pretty quiet with it not being full stainless, I'm sure a few people on here have them.

I've heard a 409 on an S14 and it's a nice noise. Ben's right, the full stainless one is out of production, Quail found that the other week when he went shopping.

    I'd happily run one myself.

Will it not shorten the life not being full stainless ?

The shop down the road said they would make me a cat back for £560 but I can't see it being close to hks and this I've found for £430

General price guide seems to be about £640. Get it from a reputable supplier, don't end up with a fake.

For £430 I'd buy it. It's got a fancy anti corrosion coating, so should last pretty well.

Was down from £600 on eBay a company who stocks hks exhaust were getting rid of 2 new ones plus eBay had 15 percent of so that helped but it's genuine hks product codes and serial numbers all match manufacturing codes ect

Got a link? I'd be very sceptical about eBay and branded parts.

£460 but chances of it being in stock are minimal...

VIP Motorsport are legit, they are UK stockists for GKTech too and I've used them before.

I've used them too, most of my current GKT came from them.

Can't argue with the website but I think that's very old pricing and they'll bump it up. Good luck to the OP with this eBay find. Didn't know HKS part numbers were formatted like Nissan, new learning.
