You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer,you've got an electrical problem!
I've been on the hunt for one over the last few weeks as well. So far no luck.... :-(
A few week ago I took my siren apart, reflowed all of the solder joints and fitted a new battery pack. And it was working perfectly again! :-) But a few weeks later it decided to give up the ghost again. :-( So a replacement is in order..

For the sake of £20 is it worth seeing if a 7897 from a Laguna will work?
