Boomerang mounts

Does any one have experience welding / replacing the area of sill where the boomerang mounts go. I won't be putting the boomerangs back on as I'm using solid bushed subframe but this area is what I need to weld up. I have new inner and outer sills for the rear but if anyone has done it or could give a rough guide that'd be much appreciated
