    Rust s14

    Hello guys,

So I have took the bite and done my dream bought a project car and i choose a s14 (whowouldnt).

I am good with basically anything and will through my hand to anything but the rust i have just dug into basically made me drop my bait. The sills had mot advisories anyway so expected needing to weld and was Guna just go for it myself BUT the area i have found need a pros hands and i am not confident at all at even attempting this

It basically all over the rear suspension mounts to the point my hand went through the sills does anyone know a welder that has worked on these cars that knows what they are doing who will have a look at some photos and give me a rough estimate of the work ?

Anyhelp would be amazing thanks !!

    What's your location?
Without even seeing it I would expect it to be in the £1000s if it's rusty enough to poke holes in it. It's time consuming work and when your looking at £300 a day in labour at least (well for anyone who's good) it soon adds up

So you have any pictures? You’re looking for someone who does restoration work really as most garages aren’t that interested in welding

That sounds like a great price. Just make sure they cut out all of the rot, in the sills there will be 3 layers. Else it will just come back in a few years.
