    Rear diff cover plate sensors?

    Hi all,

I have a rear diff cover plate with what I can only guess was 2 sensors pictured in the lower part of the plate that has now got bolts in that leak somewhat.
I was just wondering if anyone knows the hole size and thread pitch so I can get something that threads properly into the holes and seals them up a lot better.

the sensors are fot the oil coler system.
just pop them out and take them to an industrial hose supplier and ask for some blanks. they are probably a tapered thread

I would have done that but I physically don’t have the sensors, I previously put a M10 nut and bolt through the hole to seal them which did for a period of time. Now I’m after a more permanent solution……
Looks like I’ll have to remove the diff and measure the holes and thread pitch.
It’s a pain as I only wanted to remove the rear cover once

If an M10 is slightly loose then they're probably 1/4BSP

That’s a good shout thanks Ben, I’ll see if I can get at it this weekend and report the findings
