    wheel bearing identification help

got a rhythmic whirring from rear, think it wheel bearing.

i have either a Z32 or Skyline GTST rear brake set up but cannot remember for life of me which, I'm told each set up has a different bearing and hub assy. so i have to identify which one before ordering is there a quick way of checking or do i have to pull the entire brake assy. apart?

    thanks

So you're not using the original S14 hubs to be clear?

S14 and GTST rear wheel bearings look visibly the same (not saying they are, just that they look the same).

The Z32 rear wheel bearing, if I remember, is visibly different. Has a tang coming off it. Maybe that can help.

Z32 TT wheel bearings also require larger (GTR) axles. Z32 NA are same as R33 GTST and probably same as S14

ok thanks for the replies been really helpful having thought back (my memory is slowly fading) I believe I've used the original hubs, so on this basis can the bearing Assy be removed once the disk and calliper are removed without further disassembly of the brakes? I'm thinking hub puller ? (assuming I can get to the 4 retaining bolts)

There's not really much else left to take apart once you've got the disc and caliper off though bud. You'll need to seperate the hub from the bearing anyway to reuse it.

Anytime, JDM Garage are currently the most cost effective source of OEM wheel bearings, £79.99 a side delivered.
