    Jumping on the bandwagon

Seeing as my 13 still isn't done, I thought it only sensible to get another project (I say project, I've now sorted the mechanical issues, and it was far too cheap to say no to).
So, as one rwd, turbo nissan wasn't enough, I thought it best to get another, admittedly this one is auto and diesel.
Plan for this now that it works properly is a mini camper conversion.

Starting to wonder how many of these things they made, seems everyone I know has one these days

Will hopefully be sorting the split charge system and leisure battery over the weekend if I get a chance.
I haven't used it much since I've had it, but it's one of those things that really doesn't bother me if I'm holding up traffic on back roads (pretty sure it bothers everyone else behind me though!).

That would be hilarious, but I quite like the way it is (if I ever get rid of the 13, doing that could be quite interesting)

Massive fail at the weekend, didn't get a chance to do anything other than use it.
Having been moaned at for buying another thing that "we" don't need, was surprised to see that it was gone when I got home today as the boss had taken it!

I looked at E50s when I was picking up my E51 since I like the seat layouts and I thought initially a late 3.5 VQ one would be quite nice.

then I thought, you don't want two same generation Nissans... you'll be forever welding..

then I was doing the rear brakes on my E51.. and not even a year in the UK and there's a crap design feature in the rear arch skins at the front and it's rusted through. so I was welding my E51

they're bloody good though. The Elgrand OC is bloody helpful too.

I'd been keeping an eye on getting one as wanted something to put the dogs in and use for camping. I wasn't actually after a diesel one, but it came up locally at a price I really couldn't refuse.
Elgrand OC is definitely very useful though.

Need to get on with stuff for this, but it looks like there might be a slight delay as received an interesting set of photos today, which means I need to get something else done instead (quick sneaky pic, but I may have to start an actual project thread at some point - also, purists may want to look away now):

I'm actually really enjoying holding up traffic on back roads in the bus as it's so relaxing to drive!
On the plus side though, it looks like I'll actually have an s-body on the stand at helmingham now!

For what it owes me, I cannot complain.
Need to get a move on with it though as will be using it for camping in just over a week.

No update on van yet (doing stuff tonight and tomorrow to that), but mot is booked for next week now on the 13.
Be rude not to show a couple of pics of how it now looks.
