    Battery tray removal.

A previous owner has made a right mess of the tray in the bay. Battery is in the boot now so don’t really need it. Anyone successfully removed one? Or would it leave more mess than what i have?

Can you see where the bracket with the four spot welds goes to? Does it unbolt? I have never removed one but looking at your pic, that is where I would start.

Yes all from the top. Get yourself a decent spot weld drill and it should be a piece of cake.
