    Bonnet support grommet part number

My rubber grommet that the bonnet support goes through is shot. It needs replacing. Along with the rubber buffers on either end of the slam panel and also the two either side of the bonnet catch. Anyone have a copy of Fast? That can find the numbers out?

The bump stops on the outer edges of the slam panel are 62840-D0100.

I think the grommet for the bonnet stay on the slam panel is 65512-01F00.

I can't remember what's to the side of the bonnet catch, are they plastic clips?

This is what I noted down a few years back. I actually need some as well.

    65823-28E00 middle on turret.
65822-M7000 are on headlamp motor brackets
62840-D0100 at front corners. The rubber that winds in or out for adjustment.

Thank Pi, they are little rubber buffers. Non adjustable type either side of the catch. The clips i have already got.

When you say middle on turret do you mean middle of car?

I never bought these myself, but I have been noting down any part numbers that I have seen listed over the years for my future reference. But I think that there is a little stop on the actual front shock turret towards the scuttle panel.

I will try to check later. But from memory the bottom ones look like the stops (just upside down) on the radiator cross member, the middle ones are the ones at the shock turrets that I was talking about. The big top ones are the main bonnet stops, but they don't match my memory of them...... I will have to check.

I can confirm that most if not all Nissan’s from the 1990-2000 era use the same bonnet support grommets

I 3D printed one off thingyverse and it fits perfect

Not so useful if you don’t have access to a 3D printer though...

I just ordered a set of these yesterday, I'll see how quickly they arrive and how much the post-Brexit import duty is... :-0
