    Windscreen seals

    Hi all

    Are s14a windscreens bonded in?
The surrounds on mine are perished at the corners and some of those insert clips are gone too.
Will that affect the seal on the screen at all?
Also where would I get replacements
    Thanks

All windows are bonded on s14s. I believe the screen rubber is there to stop water/rain from flowing round into the windows. You can check amayama.com to see if they still have stock of genuine ones but I'm sure it'll probably be over £100 after delivery and taxes

If these seals are knackered, would I get water in the drivers footwell?

Any idea which type to get? Also seeing as mine are screwed, would it explain water in the footwell? This post should've been windscreen trim instead of seals on reflection

Had the screen replaced in the Death Machine last night for a heated version. Old trim was pretty knackered so went with a Transit/universal trim as mentioned above. I can confirm it fits well and looks spot on.

Ricky Evans Motorsport for the screen and Chips Ahoy Windscreens for the seal.

Murphy's Law that this thread is up and only on Sunday when hoovering the car, I found wet patches in the driver footwell carpet. I am currently trying to convince myself that it was from wet shoes last week in the rain. But I know it couldn't be. Bollox anyway. :-(

Probably similar to the Transit one. It really does match the side windows perfectly and looks more oem than the original.
