Dipstick tube removal

So I've clamped the pump upside down in workbench. Put a rod on the underside of the tang at the bottom of the tube. And belted it hard. The tang is bending, gap between tang and pump body has increeased but the tube isn't moving.

How do I get it out?

I always use a blow lamp, seem to almost fall out with some heat.
