What do you want your engine to do?
nothing other than either bore out to 87 fit 87 mm pistons or sleeve the block and fit the 86.5 back in
maybe up the boost a bit to around 500hp
Might not need a rebore so worth getting it checked first. I’d only sleeve it if you have to.
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
thats what i was thinking regarding sleeving seem to b alot of horror stories with sleeves not sealing and coolant mixing with oil
i was not very clear in my first post i am fairly sure it needs a rebore compression is down and when oil is put in the bore the compression went to 175 from 110 so some thing is worn, rings or cylinder wall
if the wall is worn and i can ill go 87mm piston im hoping its just rings but am preparing for new pistons if 87 is not possible cause its too worn is 87.5 making the cylinder wall too thin?
its going to a shop to get checked once ive pulled it and stripped it to a short block

You could probably buy a decent block for less than the cost of the sleeves plus fitting.
