    Best spark plugs Spark plugs

    Hi all. I know its be covered before but want to make sure. I have a sr20det black top and currently on hdev stage 1. The engine is high milage so question is what's the best spark plugs to use?

    Copper NGK plugs, grade 7. Gapped to about 0.8mm

    NGK are definitely the way to go. Much better/more reliable than champion,bosch etc.

    However, the coppers are about a tenner a pack so become service items. I used to clean them at one service and swap them at the next.

    The iridiums are a tenner each, are supposed to last longer (but how many miles are you going to do in your 200) and still need checking and cleaning at each service.

    If you have any fueling issues (which you will with breather mods, dump valves, any mods that don't EXACTLY match your Stage 1 chip), they are going to need cleaning.
