Whenever I see a car advert with a title like that "Nissan 200sx 200 sx 16v s14a skyline supra street drift race modified" I just automatically assume they aren't telling you that the car is trashed with loads of hidden damage/rust/engine problems.
Not saying that's the case for this car, but something in my head always tells me something isn't right

"has been dry stored for 7 years" == "Its been badly broken for 7 years but now I have to sell it so I've bodged it"

How anyone can justify the price of this is beyond me, they say it is supply and demand but when there were 40k S15’s built when compared against BMW M4 with 8k built I know which I would prefer and currently you could nearly afford 2 for the same price but have twice the power all the mod cons and panty dropping sluts prefer a panzer to a rusty datsun picking them up.
My S15 in the garage to me is still the £3.5k car that it cost me and it upsets me to see the prices rocket to this extent, I keep searching for the perfect S13 for a sunday cruise car but these seem to be going north quite quick too. Need pop up lights back in my life.
So that or a 5.0 supercharged V8 XKR in blue with 34k miles on it. Hmmmm

Back in the mid-1980s this same thing was happening with Dodge Chargers. "Who would pay good money for that junk?"
A friend of mine pulled a Series 1 E-Type out of a field. The landowner was happy to have that "thirsty old scrap heap" gone. But now.....$$$

The price for all old yokes have gone mental in the last year. Time will tell how long it will last.
A Ford Escort Mexico sold in the UK last year for something like £80k. :-0 The Mexico is a very cool car, but..... 80k Queen-sheets for essentially an Escort with a 1.6L engine and a groovy colour scheme.... And at one stage most were ragged to death and let rot as "they are worthless and will never be worth anything"...

While I do think that the prices are pure bat-shit mental, but on the other hand I am glad that based on value alone, less will be drifted to the nearest scrap yard or gutted as a disposable track slag. Time to start looking at these cars for keeping and maintaining.

The lad kept sticking it on all the Facebook groups with a vague and error filled advert and kept getting called out about it. Declaring a GTR rear end when there wasn't, things like that which people put down to misunderstanding.

But then he got trolled because he just kept asking for offers and eventually started listing a price. But the price he's asking is, IMO, very ambitious. Particularly when you look at the state of the engine bay which appears to be using garden hose for breathers and an IRN BRU bottle for a catch can. It's not exactly screaming quality. But for the most part the car looks honest and the spec, if true, is good.

On a driveway not far from me there is a Jag E Type, a Mk1 Mexico, a Lotus Cortina and a Porsche 944 S2 all sat lain waste and have been for the best part of 2, possibly maybe 3 decades

Wrapped though - so who knows what's under the skin - other than a repainting required, of course.

"Old mots present, mostly has service history upto 100,000 miles before my ownership at around 105,000 miles."

So it's done less than 3k miles in 15 years then, left in a garage for 7 years, and yet is his 'pride and joy'. I can only imagine it has some big issues. Balanced crank, why? Alarm bells here surely.

It's done less than 1000 miles in the last 10 years.

Either way, no longer available so someone's got it.

Now there's an 89K Damson Manual going for £10,950 here.

Number plate has been obscured which is always a source of irritation for me, suggests there's something to hide.

Still, circa 10K is definitely the theme.

Doesn't look a bad history as everything he's said he's done looks to be in line with the advisories.

That damson one doesn't look too shabby...

Anyone follow rattarosa on YT? Someone left a 512bbi on the drive for 10 plus years. It was immaculate when it was parked up.... There are some strange people out there...

Strangely enough I've been watching some of his videos as well as a Ferrari 456 has been on my list. Yeah, safe to say I've been put off

I quite liked him until I saw the vid where he completely bakes his air cooled 911 by running it out of oil and then tows it back using the frunk latch or something equally daft Also saw a few vids with him getting free stuff for his cars from suppliers by - presumably - plugging them. I know that's fairly standard these days but....

I despise influencer mentality. Drives me mental lol.

Man the itch for a standard S14 is strong. But for the money of buying one I could finish my one in the garage. Priorities.

I get my daily dose of entertainment looking at some of the modified SXs for sale on Facebook. My favourite at the moment is a ropey bright blue S13 up for £12,000 Lists about 4 modifications to the car along with "could go on all day" Well, go on then? You're asking for £12k for an old Nissan lol

I think it's just facebook marketplace Arry. Although there is a "UK No.1" style group which is good for a giggle also
