    Balls. That's a shame.

Still, I've sort of shifted in the hunt for an interesting third car and am now contemplating a DB9

Yep. A friend has a friend who has just bought a Black, 1 owner, 40k mile S14 and has just caved in the front.

Does that mean all of ours have just increased in value due becoming even rarer?

Yep. The more that get knocked off the more ours are worth. And the more expensive parts will get.

Ha, I hope so but he seems to believe he can rebuild it. My friend is trying to get the car. I'll let you know.

Yep, ages. I thought HJA turned over stock quickly so this is either overpriced or just not what people want.

Tuning has moved on. Anyone wanting a 900+PS SR20 these days wouldn't go with a spec like that.

It's about 15cm longer internally than an ever so useless 5 door Golf or Mazda 323F so will take whole 3m lengths of copper pipe or wood or curtain rails. No need to take a saw or pipe cutter to B&Q.

    Can't do this with S14.
Can't do this with any 911.
Can't do this with any 2 seater sports car.

Don't even have to take the wheels off the bike if it's only one.

Only one problem, nearly every one is utterly rotten.
    Interesting thread,
I've driven a lot of cars in my time from GTR's to E Type's, Delorian, M3's, 911's, 550 HP Astra, MX5's, Lotus Europa, Elan Sprint, Exige, AE 86, Jimmy's Ascona 400, bla bla bla
Some of you know, I own an S13, S14A, a modded original Mini and a Honda S2000
There is no car that's the best, each has advantages and disadvantages but out of everything I have ever driven, the best all rounder for road use is the S13.
Even today it has character, it's different and doesn't have the driver aids that some of the newer cars have that masks driver ability.
As skyshack said they rot, but I have a rust free 26k miles example that's currently in storage. I keep thinking I will put it back on the road. Problem is, I can't go anywhere in it!
Keep safe people, please protect yourself and others by following the rules
Hopefully we can get back to normal soon

I think it is all getting a bit daft now.

How anyone can justify the price of this is beyond me, they say it is supply and demand but when there were 40k S15’s built when compared against BMW M4 with 8k built I know which I would prefer and currently you could nearly afford 2 for the same price but have twice the power all the mod cons and panty dropping sluts prefer a panzer to a rusty datsun picking them up.
My S15 in the garage to me is still the £3.5k car that it cost me and it upsets me to see the prices rocket to this extent, I keep searching for the perfect S13 for a sunday cruise car but these seem to be going north quite quick too. Need pop up lights back in my life.

I could see them pricing it at that price if it was under 40k miles and completely unmodified and seriously mint condition but its not. That's the sort of car that goes for around £12-15k though, don't see how having red stitching on standard seats doubles the value though

You've got yourself a lovely car there. Enjoy!

I notice you're coming from the VAG scene. Be careful on these damp roads; compared to modern and/or FWD cars, 200SXs can be rather unforgiving in the wet. Perhaps why the black car mentioned above was stacked so quickly!

It's not immaculate as described however it's not a bad car by any means. Did over 300 miles in it yesterday and was fine

The lad has been trying to sell that for months. The spec is questionable.
