Finally got a membership so i can post about this, picked up a 2000 S14a in flame red in September, 92k miles.
Car was mostly stock with only a decat/catback, front mount and K&N filter with some Tein coilovers in the boot.

Probably not my smartest moment but the test drive was the 200ish miles back home but it didn't skip a beat.
Few issues to fix found on the way back were a sticking caliper, the usual VCT rattle and god awful bonnet risers...
Sticking brakes were fixed with a £20 refurb kit and paired with some new MTEC discs and EBC redstuff pads

Quick trip to B&Q for some stainless bolts sorted the bonnet risers, much better

Next jobs on the list were the VCT and getting rid of this interesting cold pipe mod for the idle control.

Managed to find a replacement set of cold side pipes that had previously been modified to remove the pipe for the BOV as that wouldn't be needed. The original BOV was still left in the car although it wasnt actually attached to anything so i removed that and the recirc piping to tidy up the bay a bit.
All this got sorted while swapping out the VCT for a used unit that proved to still rattle but nowhere near as bad as the old one. While the rocker cover was off might as well get a few fresh coats of paint on it since the old paint was flaking. Noticed it was pink at one point so decided to bring that back.

Next one on the list was the coilovers, got them on one aftenoon and set up the dampening to something comfortable ish.
