    Your dream garage

If money were no object what would you include in your line up?

Personally if I won the lottery or struck it rich I would :-

    • Keep my s14a and spare no expense on making improvements
    • Buy a left hand drive Porsche Panamera Turbo S to tour Europe
    • Have a cheap daily to park anywhere and not worry about it
    • And buy something like a Lexus LC 500 for uk road trips

I love super cars but they are too “look at me” for my taste these days, no 458’s on my horizon anymore

I have to say, for the first time in a long time I'm actually pretty pleased with my fleet and there's nothing I much want to swap in if things stay as are.

However, if I won the lottery and there was plenty of money to splosh about - it would have to be a P1, wouldn't it?

If it were a more modest win I'd probably go with buying a nice house in the country with a barn and get some stuff that I've wanted for a while:
    Integrale
    Ferrari 355
    Alfa Junior / Lancia Fulvia
Porsche 964 (just so I can appreciate how much better and therefore undervalued my 996 is )
    Caterham / Morgan 3 Wheeler
    Lotus Exige
    Mustang / Charger et al

Bikes - not sure I'd swap at the mo; I love them both and don't really need anything else.

This would be very difficult and my list would change on a regular basis because I change my mind often about what I like. However as of right now now, I have grown up slightly (although not a great deal) and assuming a substantial lottery win although not totally unlimited funds. If it was unlimited then there are very few cars that wouldn't find him their place into a large barn somewhere a la Jay Leno style!

Audi RS6 Avant for Bex and daily duties - taking the kids to school, shopping, dog walking etc.

Some form of mad off roader - Bowler wildcat kinda but more seats. Very modified V8 Defender probably. Or a Merc AMG G-Wagon.

Ariel Atom 3. This is a staple for my list.

Likewise a couple of classics to preserve for posterity. I'd love a Lamborghini Miura SV but they are 1.5m or so now for a decent one.

A "chairs and flares" Dino 246 GT too. For my Dad as it's his absolute favourite car of all time and he's going through a really crappy time at the moment. I just wish I could do more to help him.

Then a couple of things to play with. R32 Skyline, RX7 and an S15 as they are all ones I really like. Probably a 205 GTi and maybe a Cosworth but not decided which.

I could go on and on with a list of cars I'd like!

    Audi rs6 avant
Range Rover to tow a trailer
    M4 track car
Prob have the Nissan too and not drive it as that’s how it is currently.

I’d likely have a defender 90/classic Landy and some other toys too
    1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue

I’m the past I would have definitely wanted a lot of cars as part of a collection but being realistic about how much each car would/could get driven is why I’ve changed my mind.

I quite like my current car collection, but maybe an MZR Roadsports 240Z with an OS Giken TC24-B1Z and a Giulia Quadrifoglio

I think I've grown up too much...

Would be a top of the line xc90 and transit custom for dirty work.

Then probably a capri done to a similar spec as the hoonicorne, but done by myself would mean much more than an off the shelf super car

    Nice collection,
    But can I disagree?

Audi Quattro Rally instead of an Integrale.

    Lancia Stratos

You couldnt be more wrong, but what do I know?

As with Actual Ben, Im very pleased with my current lineup, despite many hours pondering I cant see where I could do much better without spending loads of money:

    F355
    V10 Phaeton
    Sorted 135i trackcar
    Mk3 2ZZ MR2 trackcar
    Mk 7.5 Golf GTI

Im leaning more and more to getting a 200 as a driftcar as I miss them days and maybe a crazy classic like a Citroen SM, the dream (and the reality) is actually having more space to put them all in

My dream garage, one with a bar.

    Ok and
Every day use, my MX5 i would keep as its fkin great.
Also an alpina thingy - the not the BMW one the Renault thing
Either a top end Atom or the off road thiing they build - in fact both
For comfy use, some sort of top end Rolls or Bently. With every option
A decent pickup with a big flatbed and double cab for when i want to dispose of the bodies.

An Alfa so i can set fire to it, i fecking hate them - crap built junk.
No s14 as to be honest its crap compared to todays stuff but i might have to have an SR20det in something, like .... i dunno (an MX5)

Mr Cooke. May I make a polite request to stop reading my mind??? It seems we have very very similar tastes. Although I still cannot bring myself to sit in anything with a Vauxhall badge.

I know what you mean about the Cobra. I had the chance to use one for a couple of days a few years ago but I couldn't get my knees under the dash! Bex, unfortunately, fitted perfectly... guess what she wants now! Told her if we ever so, it'll have to be a replica. But a good replica!

Bar the original topic of this thread, it's unlikely I will ever be able to afford a real one.

Opel manta and mercedes cosworth would also be considerations

The father in laws best mate owns DB replicas, they were the biggest replica Cobra builders in Europe a few years back.

He worked there for a while and they pumped out some very very nice examples.... unfortunately I do not fit at all comfortably in the pilots seat and very comical in the passenger side, so only with an unlimited pot where I could make one with a 10% scale up all round would it be a viable option for me, being a fat shit wipes a few options out... stratos/R8/Westfield/rs200 are some I know I don't fit in at all, having tried
