    R33 GT-R. Perhaps recently refurbed and powdercoated bronze?

    Thats Beautiful! And you've got the 5 bolt pattern, did you do that with an adaptor plate or?

    Thanks Full 5 stud conversion from S14. There is very little on this car that is original, for good or ill. If you're trying to keep things standard-ish this might not be the way to go as you will want to lower it, and then you'd be rolling arches for clearance (The R33 wheels are considerably wider than stock).

    Just to play devils advocate, it's your car, and if you wish to modify it, I say go for it (but keep all the standard parts just in case).
    Quick search for wheels, and these could be worth a look at (not my wheels, and nothing to do with me, but seem reasonably priced for what they are - because 4 stud and not super wide with super low offsets). These should also (hopefully) mean you shouldn't need to roll your arches for them to fit.

    I must say they're a nice set of wheels, they're ET35 so from what I've learnt they're slightly more recessed than mine?

    No, the lower the number, the more they'll poke out. That's lower than stock offset.

    I saw these come on sale.

    They're the correct: 4x114.3 and are ET33

    Am I missing something?

    1) Offset - this is the measurement of how far out from the arch or into the arch the wheel will sit - that sort of depends on;
    2) Width - wider wheels, you have to be even more careful with the offset otherwise you might need;
    3) Spacers - which will space the wheels out from the hub to bring them out flush to the arch line if the offset isn't strong enough or;
    4) Clearance - if the offset is wrong and you can't clear the brake callipers or the suspension upright but then even if you don't do that then;
    5) Spoke design - if you get a spoke that comes back towards the calliper then you could end up with your brakes catching / fouling the rim.

    Yeah, good luck
    People actually check these things? I just buy and then make them fit hahah
