Speedometer Intermitently Working

Hi guys,

Long time I haven't been around here due to professional reasons.

Now I got time to go back to my S13 and start bringing it up to life again.

I've just installed a neat Apexi AVCR black edition and to my surprise the speed isn't reading, I came to realize that is due to the speedometer not working...

I've check a few diodes and concluded that the ZD2 diode was busted, reading 0 on the digital multimeter.
I thought that was the only problem... but it hasn't been, now i'm a bit without the ideas, other than dissamblying it again and re-check some solders.

Can you please state all the fixes that you have made to the speedometers???

I've tried the search function without finding anything...

Hi lammypie,

I went ahead and re-flown a bit more solders... it worked! I left the tiny ones without re-flowing them because I don't have equipment to do it...

Speedometer is working at 100%! unfortunately, the Apexi is still not reading the speed, I believe that the speedmeter is still not sending the speed signal to the ECU
