Basically the ratios are 2nd and 3rd are shorter than an S14 but it's got roughly the same 1st, 4th and 5th ratio. Easier to understand is the BMW diesel box is about 10mph short in 2nd and 20mph shorter in 3rd (at 7k rpm), but close every where else.

Ok thanks, not sure about 3 being 20mph shorter, sounds like a lot!

With a standard 3.692 diff, 3rd at 7k rpm is 88.3mph on 225/40/18s. Then the top of 4th is 141mph

Probably not the best option with the standard diff then

I'd imagine the 3.133 in the Elgrand is the same - there's plenty of them available in the UK.

The rest of the thread has more information - it's a bit of a mish mash and certainly not as straight forward as the first post makes out
    white '94 s13 200sx scrapped - mapped to 1.45bar. OS giken box, garrett GT2876R, 950cc injectors, ORC twin plate, nistune. 349bhp/325lbft @ 1.3bar CA18DET
white '96 s13 180sx - type g with more kouki bits - RB25DET, GTR steel twin turbo conversion, RB26 crank & rods. 2.6L VVT twin turbo, SR20 OSG box, OSG STR twin plate clutch, Z32 ECU w/ nistune.

current status: 180 a bit broken but to be repaired.
