    Sr20det cranks but won't start

So I've put my Sr from previous 14 into my new one. Now it does crank and fuel pump does prime. Fuel gets past the fuel filter but spark plugs are dry.
The engine used to start before I took it out from previous shell. And only been sitting for around 4 months.. Could the problem be injectors? I sprayed a tiny bit of easy start in the inlet to check and it fired up for about 2 seconds.

Nope there all good. I think it might be injectors as fuel passes the fuel filter but spark plugs are super dry

I've got the exact same problem with mine.

I have people saying it's either NATS, fuel pressure regulator, cas or the ecu.

Have you removed a spark plug and held it against the head whilst cranking?

I have spark . It starts up for about 2 to 3 seconds when I spray easy start in the inlet. Then dies down. Fuel is deff going to the rail. Think maybe injectors are bloked

    More likely a dead CAS

Don't know. Tbh engine was running fine 4 months ago. I mean unless fuel in the tank is dirty and clogged everything up

It can't be the CAS if it fires with Easystart, so must be injector related (assuming you have pressure at the rail).
You should have a constant 12V at the injector when ignition on, so check this first. (The Ecu fires the injectors by grounding the circuit).
If you have a constant 12V at the injector, then try briefly grounding one of the injectors to see if it 'clicks' and squirts fuel into the intake.
If all of this checks out ok then its the Immobiliser or ECU holding the injectors closed.

It's also worth checking the Throttle Position sensor is working too, because if the throttle sensor is sending a spurious 5V signal (100%), the ECU will go into 'Flood-Clear' mode and keep the injectors closed.

I seem to remember you can push a 501 sidelight bulb into the injector plug so you will get some nice flashing when cranking it over.
if you unplug the coilpack loom take the cas out and spin it with the ignition switched on you should hear the injectors click. same as earthing them out on the ecu blue plug.

It's a 14 sheel with a 14a sr20det engine. Sr ecu and loom all from same car just put it all in the 14 shell.

Have you had the nats removed or using the halo from the 14a?

Was it snapped out of the ECU or taken out properly?

Spoke to Horsham Developments and they said sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Dunno I was told there was no nats but obviously still is there. Because everything is plugged in properly I have spark and I have fuel but injectors won't spray and I even changed injectors and nothing so must be nats stopping it all. Not prepared to change looms to Uk or defines point of beeing import lol. Need to find out how to get rid of nats

If the injectors aren't firing it'll most likely be CAS related.
