    engine gasket sets

    hi, iv bought a full engine gasket set of ebay and im not sure its a full set, there's no timing gear gasket no sump,thermostat housing, water pump, no o rings for injectors and that just what iv noticed before i start, never done one of these engines but would have thouhgt there would have been more of it, opinions please

    I don't think the water pump, water necks or thermostat housing use a printed gasket by design, they're all liquid. Happy to be corrected...

    You wouldn't typically expect to see injector O-Rings in a gasket set either, in my opinion.

    Front cover is also a liquid gasket if I remember rightly.

    tbh that would make sense, i was just a bit surprised that there was so few gaskets, iv done pinto,s and mainly chevy engines which normally have more gasket than you need

    I tend to only buy genuine Nissan gasket sets and they come with loads. you even get one to go on the oil filler cap.

    yes i might have been better of paying a little xtra
