    Fob battery replacement

    I’ve never replaced the remote fob batteries until now.
    Is there a lifetime for the master fob battery as it a critical part of the alarm system?
    Could be quite embarrassing to go to the car and it not disarm/unlock.

    Like all batteries there will be a life time. That said my master fob is 22 years old and is still working on the original battery. I should probably replace it just to be safe

    I think even if it dies the sequence is on here to re-sync it with the car.
