    Best baffled sump

Looking to get a baffled sump, not sure who's best to go for or where as heard mixed stories.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Got a Greddy on mine, never any issues when used in track, no leaks like you can get from the fake copies.

Also used a GReddy on my last car. Very good.

Like Drifter said, beware cheap copies. Porous castings are very common.

I like the look of the tomei sump. GReddy is well proven over the years. I keep looking at them for mine but have never pulled the trigger.

Moroso is IMO the best you'll find for an SR. You'll have to get it from the US though, don't think anywhere here stocks them

Thanks guys I'll definitely look into those mentioned. Usually just slightly overfill the sump but don't think that's a lasting solution

Yeah stay clear of the Greddy copies... I have one and it was not a bolt on part. Had to do several modifications to make it fit.

I had one from Japspeed before I bought a Moroso, it wouldn't bolt up as it hit the baffle plate in numerous places. Crapspeeds response when I asked to return it? 'Just grind down the bits that don't fit', no ****ing thankyou pal I'll have a refund ta

Yeah I've got the impression the japspeed ones are pretty terrible, but than again most of the stuff they sell it cheap crap anyway.

Unbelievable, I’ve got one japspeed part on my car and that’s a twin downpipe, even that had the flange at the wrong angle but the rest of the part fitted well so was worth playing with.

Exactly the same here with that down pipe!

Japspeed are just dire. I bought a high capacity diff backplate from them. It was painted inside and on getting it out of the box the paint flaked off in my hand. I returned it for a swapped item and it was exactly the same, only it had blisters in the casting.

Their model is to buy sh*t parts in such volumes that they can just offer to replace it. They are a dire company and everything wrong with S Body parts suppliers. Yet people lap them up.

I’m yet to see a Japspeed FMIC fit without modification.

Nothing yet supply fits like it should. Literally everything is terrible, even stuff you think can't be done wrong, they prove you wrong time after time. I'd be surprised if there drift cars really are made up of their own products

That’s a very good point and something myself and my friends have argued time and time again. It’s all well and true having demo cars but they’re all kitted with custom work, how much of it is deliberate.

    Shocking company.
